The Chains That Bind Us
Written for Bad Things Happen Bingo Square: Chained Heat
Owen blames Billy for this.
Well, that's not true; he blames the entirety of the 126 and their significant others because this was definitely avoidable.
It started with a stupid suggestion from Mateo to play truth or dare, and because they all respect each other, the dares started off innocuously. Paul, dance like a chicken. Nancy, show an embarrassing photo of yourself from when you were younger.
But because Marjan exists and she and TK are known as the crazier members of the group who keep instigating the weirdest situations, Owen somehow was shoved in the middle of it.
Owen has to admit that it's not entirely their fault because everyone dared each other to do stupid things. Marjan, call the eighth contact in your phone and pretend you're drunk-dialing them. And then there was that weird moment where Judd was twerking that they all agreed not to talk about because nobody wants to relive that trauma. He's pretty sure someone got a video, which is rather unfortunate.
And somehow, people had ended up in each other's laps. Mateo had ended up in Judd's, TK ended up in Carlos's, Marjan was in Paul's lap, and Grace was in Nancy's.
Someone had thought it was a good idea to put all their names into a randomizer. Unfortunately, Owen's and Billy's were also included, which made for an awkward moment of Owen sitting on Billy's lap, only helped by Owen amusingly commenting that Billy's masculinity couldn't handle it the other way around.
You would think that's the worst part, but it's not. Not by a long shot.
See, it could only get worse from there.
