TK takes it, and since he doesn’t exactly know what to do now, he slips a twenty dollar bill onto the desk. Billy eyes it, thanking him quietly.

Just as TK goes to open the wooden door to finally head home, Billy Tyson clears his throat, “kid, just.. be careful. Don’t go gettin’ into business that isn’t yours. This town– it’s different from others, okay?”

TK’s eyes find him, and if TK didn’t know any better, he’d say Billy almost looked scared for him. “Okay,” and with that, he leaves.
