would you still love me if we were Same-Gendered Best Friends who are the main characters of a Piece of Media, in which I have been deeply in love with you ever since we met, but you already have an Opposite-Gendered Alleged Love Interest whom you don't love, so, even though The Audience is aware that there's something special going on between us, they overlook it as platonic love, even though, at least in my case, it is glaringly obvious that I feel deeply for you, however, since you have your assigned Alleged Love Interest, they don't assume the same is true in your case, even if it's as clear, or even more so, that my feelings are reciprocated by you, thus, I just seem like a desperate Homosexual Same-Gendered Best Friend with a one-sided crush, and even if our Creator wanted to make us end up together, this wouldn't be possible, given the fact that the only socially acceptable way to have queer people being protagonists in a piece of media is if it solely narrates their experiences and hardships as Existing Homosexuals, explicitly announcing that it contains queer topics and nothing else, and since our Piece Of Media narrates a different story that doesn't revolve around homosexuality, The Audience doesn't agree with our relationship being a fundamental part of the plot, consequently we end up being doomed by a cishet narrative that minimizes us as characters and inaccurately represents queer people, thereby giving visibility to harmful stereotypes about the lgbtq community, and also disappointing thousands of our fans who just hoped to see people like them having a complex relationship in a piece of media like our Piece Of Media for once?

Okay so I literally have not drawn anything in like 2 weeks. Life has been hectic asf but I did finally finish Brooklyn 99 and might be slightly obsessed now. Which is quite unfortunate considering the fandom isn’t that active but it’s fine I’ll keep myself entertained with my own fanart 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️
