Gangle who was used to putting on masks herself could tell things weren't alright with Gummi yet she had no confidence that she could say or do anything to help him. Instead she simply went over to where he was and randomly hugged him. "Its ok...you're ok..." she kept repeating that phrase hoping somehow it would help. Because dep down Gangle was insecure and wished someone did this for her. She wasn't sure how this came across since she was coiled around him now. But, it was all she could think to do. (ganglymask)

A part of him wants to resist at first. To pull away and assure her that he's fine. He's fine. He's tough. He has to be… Right?

But it also feels… nice. To be embraced and reassured like this. (Maybe he's been needing something like this.)

So he lets it happen. And a claw reaches up and rests around her back in turn, reciprocating the embrace.

*Waves to Gummy* "Hey there! Hope you've been ok!" (ganglymask)

“Hey, Gangle…” He offers her a half-hearted smile, as he's feeling a bit half-hearted at the moment.

He's been… quiet. Thinking. About life. About his purpose, or the question of whether he even had one anymore. He fancied himself a generally confident guy most days but, well, being so self aware unlike any other NPC and being through what he had… he now had moments.

“I’m grand,” he tells her. He doesn't want to bring his friend down with him, after all. “How about yourself?”

I'm not the callout type but this is the third or fourth time that this person has falsely accused me of being someone else who did bad things to them, for some reason, and I'm so tired of it and so scared of people believing them and thinking bad things about me too!

Without giving spoilers, there is a specifically post-finale verse I theoretically could give Gummigoo but, to continue to avoid giving spoilers, I will probably wait to think about adding it until the full release to YouTube happens.

I wanna get back into the roleplay scene but i’n worried because my character, bubsy the bobcat, isn’t very well liked, thoughts?

On a serious note, I think you can always find your people online! Even if you find them in unexpected places and even if you only find a few. Only way to know for sure if it'll work out is to put yourself out there and give it a good try. And even if it doesn't work out, you’ll have given it your best shot to pursue something you're into and that's never a bad thing. If nothing else, you gain experience!

That being said, I do keep seeing stuff around about how interactions are getting harder to come by in the RPC these days so I'd probably keep your expectations mild going in. I wasn't sure what to expect with Gummigoo knowing he isn't exactly a popular choice for TADC muses and I still only have had a handful of people engage with him so far but I've definitely had fun with him nonetheless! So, it's really a matter of whether your ego can take possibly staying at low numbers online (not a lot of people can stand it and that's okay).

And take this all with the knowledge that I only have a couple of RP blogs and I haven't had them for very long so I'm far from an expert.

If anyone wants to add anything to this, you can drop it in the replies or send a followup ask!

Bruce's ears perked at the familiar accent-- southern Australian, perhaps? He couldn't quite place it regionally, having been so far from home for quite some time.

"Ah, a Saltie's still nothin' to sneeze at," Bruce said with an attempt at encouragement towards the stranger. The other's general design certainly resembled a crocodile. Freshwater or Saltwater crocodile, Bruce couldn't be sure.

"You also stuck 'ere, too, eh?"

“In a manner of speaking,” he admits.

One could say trapped… One could also say that they wanted his head back home. And also that home wasn't really... what he thought it was, to say the least, and that was all rather complicated. The point remained that the circus was, indeed, effectively his home now.

“So, you're another one of the humans, then, I reckon? Name's Gummigoo. How about yourself?”

In all likelihood, depending on what happens in the finale, I'll have a separate verse that takes place after the events and still have my verses that take place before, and folks can have their choice of how they wanna interact with Gummigoo.

I am 999.99% certain Gummigoo will have absolutely no part in the finale in any way, so we'll likely play it like an AU in any case.
