now i'm curious as to what pre-murkoff chalcanthite would think of PA coyle....

Unfortunately, every version of Chalcanthite is mentally unstable and susceptible to Coyle's influence. Coyle could work his way into any version of Chalcanthites' head if he tries hard enough.

However, that being said, Pre-Murkoff!Chalcanthite is- as stated- enlisted in an intensive therapy program, and would be a lot harder to 'impress,' for lack of a better word. He'd be a lot more wary and less willing to indulge in Coyle's attempts at manipulation, especially because- unlike Canon!Chalcanthite- Pre-Murkoff!Chalcanthite still feels like he has things to live for. The thing that set Canon!Chalcanthite up for such a violent failure was having all of those things taken away from him.

For this hypothetical, I am assuming that Pre-Murkoff!Chalcanthite is being introduced to Coyle in- again, hypothetical- a controlled environments to prevent 'contamination' (AKA his reaction just being the same as Canon!Chalcanthite's).

Did you know the biters had a heavy influence from Liliya? Like in their creation along with Murkoff’s experimentation? Does that worry Chalcanthite at all? I saw the pervious ask about biters- I know, correct me if I’m wrong, Chalcanthite does not like Liliya. Would that change how he perceives the biters? Or does he still feel the same despite her having a hand (pun fully intended, I know it’s awful but it’s funny) in their creation?

I did ! Though, a bit of a correction: I do not like how Liliya is implemented in the game itself (though I do like her concept), Chalcanthite, however, is actually rather neutral towards her outside of being afraid of her established influence on men (Chalcanthite I PROMISE you a woman like that would never want your man).

Ironically, Liliya having a hand in the Biter's conditioning actually fits really well in established lore I have between her and Chalcanthite--

I haven't gone super in depth with it, but I've hinted before that Liliya does want Chalcanthite to pick her over Coyle- not because she feels anything romantic or sexual towards him, but because she believes that she can utilize Chalcanthite much, MUCH better in the trial setting than the cop can. She wants a dog, and just a dog. She had been attempting to groom him into imprinting on her through gifts and messages during trial settings (which is one of the in-story reasons Chalcanthite no longer runs her trials if he can help it) for quite some time after clocking him as the one Easterman was stalking.

So, ultimately, Liliya's involvement just further enforces the idea that the Biters double as a threat just as much as an enhancement to the trial settings.

TL;DR: Liliya's involvement in the Biters' conditioning and implementation was already integrated into Chalcanthite's feelings towards them, I just hadn't thought to mention it.

my friend has a joke called the "canon breakroom" where canon doesn't matter and characters can just interact regarldess of how much sense it makes. in a hypothetical nickel breakroom, which nickel's would get along the best, and who would get along the worst?

So I actually have an AU that's kind of similar ? It's mine and @//drn1k0 Hell's Kitchen AU !!! Of course not every Nickel is there, but I feel like the main ones with actual, noticeable personalities are pretty well represented in it !!

That being said, Nickels are just,,, by default not going to get along. You're taking what is essentially a group of men who hate themselves, and introducing them to,,,, themselves,,,,, AJAJAJA

However, there ARE a few Nickels that just absolutely HATE each other, and it's these lovely, brutish divas

I plan on finally doing more with my Hell's Kitchen AU soon, so !! You'll get to see them and their hatred when I do lol

Does Scam have a favorite Nickel besides literal Nickel?

Yes, indeed !

Scam likes all of the Nickels for different reasons and of course has more than a small soft spot for his own, but he does also have his favourites of the branch-offs !!

His favourite Nickels are:

Chalcanthite

Scam likes Chalcanthite for the same reasons he likes his own Nickel, given that Chalcanthite is the closest to the real thing !

I'd be lying if I said Chalcanthite's prudish nature and 'endearing' penchant for shame weren't also pluses, though lol

Löllinger

Löllinger is a favourite of Scam's because he thinks he's funny. Extremely blunt, immensely off-putting, and entirely unashamed,,, he's fun to watch engage with others.

The Host

The Host is a favourite of Scam's for the same reason as Löllinger, kind of ! He's funny- but, in a different way. Scam feels like The Host is a wonderful incarnation of Nickel's inherent obsessive nature and eccentricity, yet entirely unsuppressed.

Scam disguises himself and interacts with this Nickel regularly !
