In February 1910, "Don Quichotte", the opera by Jules Massenet, premiered at the Opéra de Monte Carlo and was a great success. On old postcards, we see Fjodor Schaljapin, who sang the title role in the premiere and to whom this work was dedicated. The opera hall around 1900 and the composer.
