Week 01 // Chalk Ink

Hello old friend. Nice to reminisce about my restaurant hosting days, when writing the special of the day was the highlight of my shift. Though when those markers were aging and drying out, that highlight was ruined; the best markers are smooth and inky. So in seeing this old friend at the art store and indulging in my quest for white ink, I picked up the $4.99 marker and took him home with me. What followed was mostly an experiment applying the ink to various substrates and how those interacted with hand written typography.
