I BET YOU THINK I FEEL BAD, I BET YOU THINK I'M REAL SAD.
IT'S NO BIG DEAL, NOT LIKE I'VE NEVER BEEN BETRAYED BEFORE!
BUT EVERY TRAITOR KNOWS TO GET OUT OF MY WAY, OR THEY'LL END UP A BLOODY STAIN...
THAT SOME POOR SOUL IS MOPPIN' OFF THE FLOOR!

@chalkcrave asked: 🍙 + a piece of chalk she was carrying in her pocket ( @ heather, dbd au )
“..Huh?”
It was strange, of course, seeing the other, but that was something the teenager could get past easily enough. Everyone here was strange in some regard, so Heather brushed that aside. What was, however, confusing, was the piece of chalk that was given to her at the campfire. She took it, of course, a brief utterance of ‘thanks’ while she looked it over.
Did she see the other eat one? Was.. she wanting her to eat it?
There was a moment of hesitation, before she inevitably went through with the action with a deep crunch. No, that.. wasn’t sugar chalk. There’s a brief rapid series of blinking while she processed, covering her mouth with fist for a scant moment while she reluctantly went through the act of chewing it enough to swallow.
“...Thanks. I’ll, uh, save the rest for later.”
Maybe for its actual purpose...
Why did they have to sit in the middle of the classroom? Kris never liked being in the center. Everyone had eyes on them, or had the chance to see them doing things no matter where the other class members were. It meant Kris couldn’t get away with anything, since no matter what someone would see something. Kris could carry out so many pranks if only they were in a back corner seat. Being in a corner was cooler, plus the back of the classroom was the prime place for pranking without being noticed. Susie, Snowy, and Jockington have no idea how lucky they are. Kris would love to have a seat there where they could get up to so much mischief! And sleep! Sleep away the boredom! Sleep until it was time to go back into the Dark World once more!
(That might be why mom insisted I sit here. She knows that I would look for any weakness. Not that Alphys is that hard to fool if I tried to. Pft, I still remember the one time I put a woopie cushion under her seat. That was so funny!)
Kris laughed but it was only within their head. Alphys was talking, but Kris was zoned out. They were so good at blocking things out at this point it was second nature. They could already feel their eyelids drooping from the boredom. Why did school have to be so dull? When mom taught it was so much better! Alphys was so boring! She couldn’t make something fun if she tried. Not that Kris cared to learn anyway, it was all pointless information. Pointless facts for pointless tests that get you no where. Why bother to try? They turned their eyes behind them to Susie. Wanting to see how she was coping with this.
