I do still love how randomly Bowsette became a big thing with so many people just from the speculation of that power up for Peachette being used by Bowser. OK, my wife showed me this video last night, and I hadn't thought about Bowsette in a hot minute, but she is so trans (as are the lyrics)! Like how did I miss that, or forget??? So she's going on my "transfem cosplay goals list" now, too!

Here are some of my favorite versions of her. I like dark-skinned/red-haired Bowsette, too (gives oni musume vibes like Mink from Dragon Half or Zentreya the vtuber's old model), but I myself am White, so I wouldn't end up doing that version if I cosplayed her someday. She's just so gender, so girl power. Bowsette is strong and in-your-face without being butch, which I adore. She really developed her own playful personality instead of just being F! Bowser.
