Sometimes Mother Nature wins. After getting most of the street painting this weekend close to being finished, Mother Nature decided it was time this old woman joined her on her epic sweep across the state. The storm was one of the worst I've seen at chalk festivals and thankfully only a few pieces were affected. Mine succumbed to the pool of water that sat in the tire ruts of the street. Had I not been helping run the festival and helping take care of things, she would have been brought back to life in full.
