RIP Michael K Williams. The world just got a lot less cooler a lot less creative and a lot less compassionate. I met him at an adidas store event early 2000’s and exchanged numbers and would text every now and then. I asked him “what are you doing with a 323 number?” He grinned and replied “you gotta fake it till you make it playboy!” And he gave us that signature laugh Haha (if you knew him you know what I’m talking about) He was also friends with my late friend Dario who passed in 2006 so we crossed paths a lot in the early 2000’s. He low key came to a few of my dj gigs and would tell me “I love ‘us’ I love that energy we give the world, music is gonna bring it all together!” In our brief conversations I Found out he was a hip hop dancer/breaker and rapped and was a huge fashion head. He Loved his people and loved his craft. He was a solid person.
