So our light board basically fried today during pre-show checks. Technically, it wouldn't turn on, and we thought it was our AC adapter, but it was both. Since we didn't have lights, our ATD and I climbed up the lighting towers to string up our portable lights, so that there was some lighting on the stage until we could fix them.

Also, one guy tried to hop the fence and break it, and another guy was found peeing on a tree outside.

It was an interesting show.

Today at work, I got into a political discussion with a man. His words "republicans are for big businesses and democrats are for minorities. I'm a republican because i feel like democrats trying to help minorities takes away from us other people."

Welp.

To all book-lovers! If you ever think you're being over-charged for a book, there's a way to check on the spot! Find the barcode--there are two parts to it! One is the ISBN and the other is the price! You want the second segment. If it's a US publication, it'll have  a 5, followed by some numbers, for example: 51799. If it's a Canadian publication, it'll have a 6 followed by the price. So if the number above the barcode is 50699,the original distributor decided that this particular book costs 6.99. So if you go into a store and they're charging 19.99, don't buy that. Odds are, you can find it at it's list price on the publisher's website, or cheaper elsewhere. Don't overpay for books! This includes/applies to textbooks and audio as well!
