The RESULTS of our CVS CHALLENGE
Hey Pretty Mamas! As you may know we accepted a challenge to repeat a brag we found on KCL and attempted to do it at CVS which is a store we have never been to before. Our results were not so good because a lot of the items were different pricing at ours or they were out of stock However, we still did get some stuff and still got a good deal so here is what we got and how. First some tips and recommendation for those first timers like us.
Different than Walgreens:
**At CVS you can do separate transactions and use your ecb (extra care bucks) that you have earned in the 1st transaction – in the second transaction. Another thing that is different than Walgreens is that you can use as many ecb (extra care bucks) in a transaction as you want without purchasing an extra item that you will not use a coupon with. Also, you still can earn ecb (extra care bucks) even though you use them in the transaction.
Recommendations:
**If you don’t have a CVS card, get one asap! Either right when you walk into the store or online before you go.
**Download the CVS App and add beauty rewards (click menu button and click on my deals & rewards)
**When arriving at CVS scan your card or look-up your number at the red magic machine for special coupons
Since we are doing the deals per transaction, I am going to list all of the things bought first then the coupons and deals.
**If you sign up for a new card you should receive $3.00 in extra care bucks just for getting a rewards card! We did use that in our transactions below but I didn’t include it in because not everyone will be able to receive it.
