Ahhh, N actually got her ears pierced when she was eight. Tonilia and Vex did that for her, and she cried like an absolute baby when the needle went through. 😂

Unfortunately, after one particularly nasty mishap, Grelod ripped both of the earrings clean out in a fit of rage. It had to be stitched back together, and once it healed, the scar tissue made it impossible to wear regular earrings comfortably anymore.

But N still desperately wanted to wear jewellery because she simply thought it looked pretty.

So, when she was 10, she met an Orc merchant with stretched ears and wooden plugs. After asking about them—and haggling a few spare septims off the price, of course—she bought her first pair and slowly began stretching her own earlobes over time.

By the age of 27, she's built up a small collection of carved wooden plugs that she swaps out depending on her outfit. ^^
