Zwar ist der Januar des neuen Jahres 2023 schon fast vorbei, dennoch eine kleine Rückschau auf das Lesejahr 2022. Join me in a summer of generosity!

I'm wanting to grow in generosity with the Lord so I am making summer blessing bags for the homeless. Simple idea: make a bag with some necessities for living on the street and hand it to people (I keep bags in my car ready on hand)

Here is my summer BB list: -sunscreen -water bottle -2-3 bandages -1 pair of large socks/underwear -some money (if your are uncomfy w/ this, consider a gift card instead) -some change for the bus -1 pad, 4 tampons (keep in mind of trans men and nonbinary people who may also need these! menstrual products are not exclusive to women)

I have a first limit of 10 fully stocked bags and continue filling them as I give them. If you are new to giving B.B away, consider a smaller amount (3 or 5) but even just doing one to try it out is great.

Remember this isnt about you, this is about helping others and in my case, wanting to be more generous like Jesus.

My goal is small but useful. Being generous makes you more like Jesus!

2 Corth 9:7-8: ' God loves the one who gives gladly. And God will make it up to you by giving you everything you need and more so that there will not only be enough for you own needs, but plenty left over to give joyfully to others.'

i can’t fucking stand the way men interview each other. i fucking hate one man interviewing another on something they know things about. he asks the other man a question and the poor second man explains the thing, as he has been asked to, and the interviewer man has to stand there and reassert constantly that he knows all about the thing and micro-condescend if the guy he just asked to explain a vague thing doesn’t go into minute detail about his process. and god forbid the second man act excited about any progress he’s made or a cool thing he created outside of the normal way something is done, because then it’s time for the interviewing man to go ‘uh huh yeah okay well this one time i also-’ it’s just such a horrible energy.

Back at it again in 2022 with another challenge thing! I still have some to do from the WIP ask for Make me write this challenge so I’ll do both when I can and this one will be simpler and easier to do.
