///INFODUMP/// Imma be honest - and it might be a bit of a shock here - but apart from fanfiction, I'm not much of a reader. I never saw the appeal of reading a wall of small text on a white page for hours. I just couldn't - and it wasn't a problem of 'getting immersed in the world', I literally have Maladaptive Daydreaming. I just couldn't for the life of me focus on the paragraph I was reading.

Fanfictions were like a wake up call for me though, hyper fixation made it so easy for me to get inmersed into reading.

I was tagged eons and eons ago by the lovely @thesimperiuscurse to do this playlist challenge thing. The original rules are to pick a song for each of your characters, so I went and did that for all the mains of Clarity.

The Artwork Challenge

Rules | Pick a piece of visual artwork (sculpture, painting, illustration) and re-create it in one of the sims games! It doesn’t have to be spot on, so  no need to agonize over accuracy (unless you want to). Tag a bunch of simmers afterwards so everyone can have fun.

My artwork is Sleeping Girl (with a Cat) by Pierre-Auguste Renoir because it’s one of my favourite works by my favourite artist. I added a brushstroke effect, but the one without is under the cut (along with a small rant).

I think most folks I know have been tagged by now, but if you want to do this, go ahead. ❤

You wouldn’t believe how much editing I put into this. Like... wonder how I managed to fix the problem with the cat’s eyes being open? Well, I didn’t. I edited that fucker’s eyes closed.

Also, skirts clip. A LOT. And I mean, we all know that, clipping is inevitable with skirts, so who cares, right? ME. I CARE. Because I have no regard for my mental health. I had to fix it. So I fucking fixed it. And to think I thought for a while the biggest problem with this would be the objectively terrible job I did converting that hat.
