Hey, im kinda new here so i just wanted to know more about Lovebomb bang 2026...(Is it like the bwa thing going on rn?)
Like is there a particular genre that you have to write in if you participate? Because I don't really write smut..
And do you have to collaborate with people for writing one fic or people do their own thing?
Also what is the procedure of joining if I'm interested?
(Sorry to be annoying in your inbox but I'm just really intrigued 😃)
I'm so happy you popped into my inbox to ask 🥰
This isn't linked to the excellent bwa event going on, this is a new event inspired partly by a similar event in another fandom that I'm participating in, and partly by an event I did for my birthday back in February.
There isn't a particular genre, but as the timings would have this event posting in February, love would, I think, be a major theme. That doesn't mean it has to be smut - this can be romantic love, family love... any love!
The idea is basically this:
You sign up as a writer between October 1st and 14th via the Google form I'll be posting on the 1st.
You'd start writing whatever you wanted for any Sebastian Stan or Chris Evans character.
Alongside this, there will be a sign up for artists - creators of moodboards, playlists, banners, digital art, etc.
Once everyone is signed up and I have a synopsis of what you plan to write, I'll match you up with an artist who can create a visual interpretation of your writing.
Closer to completion, I'll create a posting schedule.
You would post your fic as normal and tag the artist who'll post their work.
Both works would be added to the AO3 collection and to the Lovebomb Bang 2026 Masterlist.
The level of collaboration is up to you and your artist once you're matched, you can work closely and know how they plan on visually representing your work, or you can provide them a finished story and wait for the surprise!
I'm sure there are kinks to be ironed out. This is my first organised rodeo, and atm, I'm going it alone, but I also think it'll be a lot of fun, and it'll be so magical to see some great stories with matching artwork 😊
Please do let me know if this isn't clear enough 😅 I have visions of there being no participants and equally terrifying visions of there being too many!
