Last week’s challot
I made a plain loaf, since my husband and I wanted French toast on Saturday morning.
I still have apples and raising in my pantry, so for Shabbat dinner I made challah rolls stuff with apples, cinnamon, and raisins.

A "cheat" braid that winds up being very pretty is to separate the Challah into 4 equal portions. Braid together 3 in a simple braid. Take the 4th portiin and separate that into 3 sections. Do a second simple braid with the smaller dough. Put the smaller braid on top of the larger bread and use your fingers to kind of smooth the two braids together.
i love cheating if you don't cheat what the hell is wrong with you
Who cooked the key-challah today?
My lovely sis who is an amazing tzadika do it this ☺️💕✨
i made pumpkin challah :D i’ve made gluten free bread before, but this was my first time using normal flour! i’m really happy with how it turned out, even though my braiding needs some work. shana tova 💛💜💛
When your flatmate requests big challot and you don't have a bowl that is big enough for a bowling ball of dough...
I know it sounds insane to start baking challah while the world is shutting down. But you’ll thank me later.
Shavua tov!Pre-shabbat photos.
