Oak Bowery is a small community in Chambers County, Alabama, It consists of only a few homes and churches. The Early Star Lodge #395, Morning Star Chapter #734 of the Prince Hall Free & Accepted Masons call this building home. It sits on the campus of the St. Luke CME Church.

Little Nadine’s Playhouse-Lanett, Alabama
At age 4, Nadine Earles died from diphtheria near Christmas. Her father, Julien, was building a dollhouse for Christmas. The little girl was so excited about the dollhouse she demanded, “Me want now!” The family chose to build the dollhouse over her crypt, ultimately making it a very elaborate grave house.
