BREAKING: Texas Governor Greg Abbott has issued a statement Sunday night warning that if Texas State House Democrats do not return by 3 PM Monday afternoon to vote for the hostile Texas redistricting map, he will move to declare their seats vacant and replace them.
He also says that he will pursue felony charges if Texas Democrats take payments to cover their impending fines.
The Governor of Texas has officially gone batshit crazy and lost his mind. First off, he cannot declare any seats in the legislature as vacant and replace any elected official in the legislature. This is all intimidation tactics.
If the Governor of Texas is willing to go to these lengths to steal and deliver Donald Trump 5 additional Republican seats in the House of Representatives— then Donald must be absolutely terrified of a Democratic Party that will possibly regain the House in 2026.
