19. What is the most difficult thing for you to draw?

SO MANY THINGS most of which involve anatomy, i’ll pick one and say hands. FUCK hands!!!

5. What’s your favorite thing to draw?

oooh man i actually don’t know? probably girls, a lot of my default warmup stuff is busts of different ladies and i always enjoy doing that

30. What inspires you to not just make art, but to be a better artist?

hmmm i guess i like being able to translate things in my head into something corporeal, and the more accurate the finished result is to what i envisioned the more it makes me happy. i suppose in that sense i inspire myself to keep improving?? haha

Hey, have you guys read The Whitby Witches trilogy by Robin Jarvis by any chance? The books are set in a small english town called Whitby, not a city, but in every other respect they're incredible examples of really dark, scary urban fantasy- but set at the seaside! So that's nice, at least the mortals can go swimming.

Gosh, that's extremely flattering! And dangerous. Kirin's court is no place for an innocent mortal who loves hot dogs and netflix. I'd better watch my back around all those clever, tricky fae. 

You seem like you have a good grasp on the situation, though. I bet you'd have a great time at Kirin's court!

I am curious-- anyone have an ear for accents? I have no idea what I have. I was born in Florida, raised by New Yorkers, grew up in Missouri. Have no concept of any accent I might have.

So, Michael has a cat daemon, Joel with a ferret, Caiti with a quoll, etc, etc?

The movie was /horrific/ and the books are absolutely lovely. The first one is called The Northern Lights (although maybe not in America?) and you can probably get a good audiobook for it. Ohh and I just remembered daemons are the opposite gender to their humans (except rarely) so maybe Jack would have one of those maned female lions http://newswatch.nationalgeographic.com/2012/10/09/weird-wild-rare-maned-lionesses-explained/

OH yes! Audiobooks I totally forgot that was a thing. I'd probably get way more into it if it were an audio book just because I'm constantly doing multiple things at one time it'd be easier to just listen to it while drawing or something rather than sitting and reading <v> 

oooh and yea that could work! If he had a maned female lion it'd be pretty great to see people think he was one of the rare few to have a daemon that's the same gender as him but then it talks and people are just like oOOHHHHhhh, badass maned female lion ftw

I know that feel. it's the one I usually kick out around this time of year, but it's there all the rest of the time.

She told me that her reasons for not taking it is because she has three dogs and she doesn't want them to get fleas.

Big fucking whoop, I have two cats and I would risk them getting fleas to save this kitten
