Today I took the kids to Holly Park in Hawthorne. They had so so much fun! This is the first mural I painted for the City Council and Art Commissioner Gloria Plascencia. This is why I do what I do. These kids. And others kids. This is what they see when they play at this park. I spoke to about six gang members there and talked about why I did what I did for their park. It was nice to see it when I was dropping off art in the area. My heart is blessed. Kylee got to play with two amazing girls, Ian hit a new friend and we laughed with their grandfather about how silly the boys were. Good day.
