Champions Magic - Urbosa’s Fury

A Glamour to Show You Are Not One to be Trifled With

What you will need:

 - Sand (from a beach or from a sandbox, it matters not)  - Storm Water  - A piece of gold jewelry  - A dish or shallow container

Spread the sand thinly over the dish.  Pour the storm water over the sand.  Do not “drown” the sand, pour just enough that each grain has been hit.  Place the jewelry atop the sand and place in a sunny spot to charge all day.  Once all the water has evaporated, place the sand in whatever container or bag you wish.  

Whenever you need to have the extra dash of fierce, put on the jewelry and grab a handful of the sand.  Once you’re out the door (or in front of a mirror if you don’t mind vacuuming), snap your fingers and fling the sand outwards in an arc.  You are the calm before the storm.  You are the silence before the lightning strikes.  You will take down all who stand in your way.  

And now everyone who dares to lay eyes upon you will know the same.

Champions Magic - Revali’s Gale

May the Winds of Fortune Be at Your Back and Thrust You Forward

What you will need:

 - A green candle  - A song or playlist that makes you feel you could conquer the planet  - Cinnamon  - An oil of your choice

Start up the music.  Keep it on a loop.  Mix a pinch of cinnamon into the oil, anointing the candle.  Light the candle and proclaim what it is you want to succeed at: Your dream career, a triathlon, writing a kick-ass thesis, etc.  Do not merely ask for it, demand it, declare it to be true.  You want to be bursting with confidence that it will happen.  It’s happening because you say so. 

Take the candle either outside or to an open window.  At the lowest angle you can, blow out the candle so it goes out upwards.  The gale is going skyward, sending out your proclamation to the world.

Champions Magic - Mipha’s Grace

“If Anyone Ever Tries To Do You Harm, Then I Will Heal You”

What you will need:

 - A container of rain water, star water, and/or twilight water (water charged by the setting sun)  - A red candle (try a birthday candle if you can, you want one with a relatively low melting point)  - Sugar  - Milk

You’ll want to perform this in the tub/shower, where it won’t matter that you make a liquidy mess. 

Take the candle, light it, and let wax drip where the hurt is.  Do this from higher up, rather than close to your body.  Be careful not to be burned. If the pain is over a cast, or something that cannot get wet, aim either very close, or the opposite limb.  For inner healing, drip over the heart (even for mental healing, don’t risk wax on the eye or in the hair).  With the sugar, scrub off the wax, imagining it taking the pain with it.  

Now cup with your hand or pour the milk over the wax spot.  Let its energy sink deep, taking anything that lingers, soothing the pain of healing.  Lastly, dump the water over your breast or over your head.  Now you are cleansed, the last of your hurt washed away.  Take a few moments relax, knowing that everything will be alright.

Champions Magic - Daruk’s Protection

A Spell to Protect You from Malevolent Forces

What you will need:

 - A red charm (marble, button, sea glass, etc)  - Black Salt  - A pen and paper

On the paper, write between one and three things you want protection from.  This can be immaterial (anxiety), an event (bad morning traffic), or even a specific person (Becky with the good hair).  Focus on a shining bubble protecting you from these dangers.  Burn the paper and mix the ashes with the black salt.  Submerge the charm in the salt for at least an hour, but overnight it also good.  Depending on what you’ve used, it’s suggested you keep it in your bag, pocket (I recommend the small pocket no one ever uses), or convert it to jewelry with wire, string, whatever.  Before you go out, let out a strong “GORO!” shout to activate it.  

If you want to clear it to set up new targets to be protected from, submerge the charm in blood salt overnight (that’s salt and IRON, not real BLOOD).

Yunobo Variation aka “Move Bitch, Get Out The Way!” When a defense needs to become an offense

What you will need:

 - A red bean or nut (something that can biodegrade)   - Chili powder  - Black salt  - Pen and paper or a photo of thing you wish to strike 

Submerge the charm the mixture of black salt and chili powder.  Be very careful not to touch your eyes (or other places) after touching the powder.  Make sure to thoroughly wash your hands after this, or wear gloves.  

Visualize the target being repulsed by you, not wanting to come close and leaving you well enough alone.  Once you’re done, take out the charm and place on the paper or photo.  If it’s small and round, smash your fist onto it.  Enforce the idea of the target staying far, far away.  If it’s larger, hold it in your hand as you smashy smash.  Please be aware of any points, such as when using a chestnut.  Let out a good “Goro!” with each hit.  Once you feel the message has been sent, take the charm outside.  If it’s safe to, chuck it down the road in the direction of the target.  If the target is intangible, throw in any direction you want.  If you don’t feel safe/okay throwing it down the road, you can take it to a field, empty parking lot, wherever you can go legally and safely and throw it toward your target (if applicable).  As you throw it, let out another strong “GORO!”
