Posting this in honor of a friend who I learned has passed when I woke up this morning. We got to know each other through a Filipino Facebook Fushigi Yuugi group and his fave was Tomite. Then later on, we realized we’re in the same field (nursing) and we have a mutual friend. We also got to chat about other stuff and fandom. We never met personally but it was fun chatting with him. He’s got such a bubbly personality. It was shocking as his passing was sudden. He left this world too young (late 20s). :’( Whenever the next time is that I will draw Tomite, it will be dedicated to him.

Goodbye my friend. Rest in peace.

PS: He asked me before: If you’re a true fan of FY, you should know this. What’s the surname of Tomite and Soi?

Me: Tomite’s is Tan (Chamuka). And Soi, I don’t know. Him: Soi and Tomite are related, Tomite Sauce and Soi Sauce.
