Miaka and Tamahome are great, but Yuu Watase will never convince me that they love each other more than Takiko and Uruki did. I genuinely believe that Miaka and Tamahome were given their happy end because Suzaku is the god of love and that it had nothing to do with the strength of that love vs Takiko/Uruki. It's the only thing that makes sense tbh.
