I really like this new record from Chance Fischer. He’s been building quietly, developing his craft, and now he’s ready to let the world hear. “Soufflé” is a great metaphor to describe the process he’s been going through as an artist. When I listen to this record, I can feel the identity of an artist starting to emerge.It's definitely unique sounds on the production, and matched simultaneously with a new passive-agressive flow. One thing I respect about Chance as an emcee is his fearlessness to step in the booth and try new material. These everyone wants to sound exactly like everyone else. Those days of A&R’s from the label developing artist for years or until their soufflé is ready to come out are gone... I think we’re going to see Chance triple-up in 2016
