Sprite sheet for Rockman Pachislot Ability. Please full view! I redrew the sprites by hand from a cut scene screenshot-- the game itself is 3d animated. Credit with use, please. (And I’d love to see what you do with them!) I might go back and finish up Choice Man, Replay Man, and Lever Man in the future.

Bonus: custom Bass/Forte sprite, using Chance Man as a base. He’s not in Rockman Pachislot Ability. I ended up unconsciously copying the “Off Model Mega Man” Bass (plus green gems b/c the Pachislot mcs all have glowy green accents?), so I’mma give design credit to @kidknux​

Chance Man is built from recycled parts and board game components, originally designed as a mascot for a casino. However, his cute design and gentle nature made him popular with younger audiences, and was bought out by a TV station to host a children's show! He much prefers his new line of work. When at home, Chance Man enjoys hanging around the space heater.

What I've got for Neon Man right now is that he's got a role beyond just "lighting FX engineer", and it's that Dr. Brennan specifically designed him to extend the longevity of vintage tech by making him able to directly hook himself up to just about any other machine and essentially rummage around in there. kinda bs stuff but my head hurts so lets just call it that. to compensate for all the processing power and also just the sheer amount of different wires and adapters he has, he's a big boy . like Huge . that size also comes a lil bit from him being recycled from vintage tech so he's just generally big guy. neon man big guy pants ok or whatever the kids say these days

anyways this is because bren is very nostalgic for vintage tech and thats why most if not all of her robots are made from recycled electronics . Neon Man and Chance Man are the only ones specifically made from recycled Robots, though, and Neon Man is not exactly fond of that ..

she's incredibly proud of his capabilities but neon man cant get over the fact he's "supposed" to be this New Robot and he's made of Old Stuff that's "obsolete" and "not as good", which makes him worried that he's junk and if he isnt good enough everyone will say ew this guy is junk put him in the junk machine , hence all the bravado to an almost annoying degree

[doesn't help that he's the "youngest" brn, and he secretly holds all of them in high regard and worries he won't live up to the BRN "standard"]

[this is a moot point to basically all the other BRNs because they at least have some grasp on the fact that they are very eccentric compared to the typical robot master]

Anyways Neon Man gets a bit of an attitude when people start to bring up old tech and calling it junk because it makes him nervous . He at least gets to confide his feelings about his self worth to Chance because chance can relate as another recycled bot.

chance being the host of a childrens show where he helps gently break down scary concepts such as Emotions and Being Scared of Stuff into easy to digest pieces helps console Neon a lot

pretty much all of the other air man shapes fuck with chance man except for, for probably obviouss reasons, air man himself. The feeling is mutual though.

"You are a mockery of me" vs "I am only like you in components and nothing of substance" dynamic going on here

as for friends, Chance Man can get along pretty well with just about any robot! His patient nature and the fact that he is very well equipped for being a robot therapist makes it hard for anyone to go out of their way to be antagonistic to him besides like bass lol (and air man obviously).

despite his openness to hang out with others though, chance man's social battery drains quite a bit since he feels obligated to be fully engaged in conversation with most people . this doesn't apply to astro man though! They're both introverted and can just mutually exist which is very nice for chance .

otherwise his best friend is the space heater. no more talking...
