for that character type thing, i think you'd be the last guy in a horror movie but you also wouldnt even know you're in a horror movie
that is hilarious and accurate

Shuichi, Attic ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
Giiiirl, you know what I’m about! Thank you for the ask <3
Attic:
What is the character afraid of?
Failure, or losing his goal somehow. I feel like Shuichi is such a orientated person (as we see through his drive to seek revenge for his father), that without one he wouldn’t really know what to do with himself if that makes sense? Which is why his Main Story ended on such a bittersweet note in my opinion.
How do they deal with bad memories?
I feel like he does one of two things: he redirects his energy into something else or he simply denies it. As explored in his Main Story, he found the drive to join politics when his father was shunned. He took all the anger and pain from essentially losing his reputation and channeled it into extracting revenge. I think he also denies the existence of bad memories when (major spoilers) his other father figure betrays him at the end of his Main Story. It simply isn’t addressed after it happens, which leads me to believe that maybe he doesn’t want to accept it.
What is this character’s role in a horror movie?
The strategists that dies trying to go back and save his best friend. I doubt he’d feel much guilt for the people who strayed from the set plan and got themselves killed. But Hikaru? He’d probably bolt after him, swearing all along the way.
How do they hide their secrets?
With confidence. I think Shuichi is very good with confidential information. This plays into his career choice as well as his revenge plot. He’s definitely the kind of guy that wants the upper hand in a situation, so he keeps his cards close so to speak. He never breathes a word of his secrets to anyone unless they absolutely need to know.
Which of the Seven Deadly Sins does the character relate to most?
I’ve answered this before here, but it’s worth repeating: I believe wrath fits Shuichi best. He is absolutely motivated by revenge, which turns into aggression towards and conflict with Eisuke.
i hope this isnt too weird, but, i took a bunch of pictures of clouds this weekend and was gonna post them. Could I tag you in that post to try and boost your mood?

Thank you!
It’s still kinda likely I’ll pick up Andromeda but the comparisons to Inquisition make me wary. I love Inquisition to death aesthetically. The art pops. The gameplay and plot-progression does not. I'm just hoping they didn’t draw too much inspiration from it. Awkward animation and weird armor is bearable. But I can’t stand huge areas with nothing in them and a half-baked storyline with no real say in its direction. :<
