I present to you Rosalind Franklin. The woman who discovered the structure of DNA. Unfortunately due to era she lived in she wasnt respected as a scientist and had her research stolen by the assholes Watson and Crick who won a prize for her research. It's only been recently that she was acknowledged but not until after she had passed away from side effects of her research (cancer I believe). Sorry this is so random, I just remembered it after reading in my forensics textbook that Watson and crick discovered it.
