~(change of tides)
Did you ever have someone in your life
who made you believe anything was possible?
Opened your world;
that you could do, could be, could have - anything?
Did they change your life?
Change who you are,
who you became?
Even after they're gone,
you measure your life as
before or after this person
this influence,
this change.
Did you ever tell them they changed you?
Made you better?
Made you stronger, more confident, more you?
Shouldn't you?
A friend I hadn't talked to for a long while called me up the other day. He said, "I don't know what it is, but you sound different. Older. Like you've seen some shit and it aged you" I just started blankly into the void and agreed.
365 day Challenge; Day 7
yeah no comment on my late-ness.
Day 7: a show or a movie that has changed you, and how
• This is gonna be hard.. haha. Um well i think 13 going on 30. Because in this movie, i found out about the song "Vienna" by Billy Joel. This song means so much to me and everytime i listen to it i really cry. It has such meaning to me and it just really hits me.
Also, this movie in general really just, i think, tells about not taking life for granted, enjoy the present, you/ll get to the future soon enough. And be careful what you wish for. It's really a good, cute movie. I love it!
Day 7 of 365
a show or a movie that has changed you, and how
I don't think any show or movie has ever really changed me significantly. I mean, some open my eyes to see things in a different light and I have my all time favorite movies and shows but none have really altered my life. I guess if I had to choose one, I'd say Les Misérables, I've already seen it in theaters twice and plan on going back again. I've never actually cried in a movie theater before, and when I saw this tears were actually streaming down my face. I don't know what it was but it really pulled on my heart strings and made me express my emotions, which I don't usually do. So I guess Les Mis has made me more expressive with my emotions? Well at least when I'm watching it, it does.
