March 6th 2014 Life changing birthdays
Today is my niece’s, Lulu as we affectionately call her, 18th birthday. Happy Birthday Lulu! In my life I’ve found there to be life changing birthdays. Some people seem to think that their life-changing birthday is as you get older, rather than when you were younger. For me it was when I was younger, rather than when I got older. Now some may think that is silly, but in my case, when I was 18, that was my biggest life-changing birthday. I think that because that is when I truly started to realize how much I wanted to be a writer. I started writing when I was 18, although it was mostly in secret. Most of you know that story already, that is how my writing career began. Although I won’t tell you the same story all over again, I will tell you it was the biggest life changing moment there ever was in this lifetime, which makes me wonder, what will happen in my niece’s life, and when will it happen in my niece’s life? Or should I say, where will the turning point be for her where she decides in her life what God wants for her most? We all have them in our lives, sometimes sooner rather than later. Sometimes it’s much later because it’s God’s time, not ours, but sometimes it takes a very long time to realize that, and sometimes it takes is a very short time. Its just interesting to see what His time actually is, the time that catches up with our time. I know I’m using the word “time” a lot, lol, you’ll have to forgive me about that. Maybe my editor can figure out a better way to try and get my point across so by the time you get this the word time won’t be on here so much. ;) (editor’s note: Lol, Nope! Sorry, Amy. ;) ) Anyway, Happy Birthday, Lulu! I love you and I hope God blesses you with the best turning point ever, whatever it may be!
