Thank You All So Much
Words cannot fully express just how wonderful it’s been to read everyone’s comments and see their reactions to Getting Carried Away. Seriously this fandom is awesome and the people a part of Balloon SMP are some of the kindest folks I’ve encountered online. I haven’t felt this creatively driven to just make stuff in a very long time.
So what’s next?
I’m currently working on the next video I want to make for the channel. It’s not going to be about BLSMP. I made GCA to convince people to go watch the SMP themselves. That’s not to say no more BLSMP videos, but rather, if I get a cool idea for a video, then I’ll do it.
Right now, I have two ideas, one of which has been drafted, along with a thumbnail I sketched. I’m teaching myself Inkscape to make a logo for the channel cause I think that’d be cool. I am also learning motion graphics in Davinci Resolve so that I can animate a little channel intro.
I’m becoming a sort of “Jack of All Trades” to pull together all my videos and make more things I’m proud of. My main philosophy is making videos that I’d want to watch.
What type of videos can we expect?
“The Balloon Dog dumps his hyper fixation on you for roughly twenty minutes and tosses you a recommendation.” Video games will be my primary focus but sometimes I’ll deviate from this if there is something I’m especially passionate about that I want to share.

Gosh been a minute since I've posted anything. Been busy day to day with more irl stuff. Got a follow up interview, fingers crossed that I get it!
Progress on the next video I wanna make has been a little slow but it's all plotted and scripted. Just need to do some footage capture for it. Definitely a more ambitious project than my previous ones because instead of relying on existing videos, I have to make everything myself from scratch.
It's been time consuming but really fun!

MAN this was a busy weekend. Lots of irl stuff, time with the family, time with my so and my frieeends.
This week I'm gonna try to really bare down and get the next video done, draw more, and of course work on ttrpg stuff.
I love my friends and my boyfrieeend. I got a job interview coming up for something part-time. If it pans out I'll be able to invest more stuff into the channel and really get rolling on deeper production. Aaah I hope it all works out.

Finally finished the script. I went through five rewrites and recordings but I think I've got a version of it I'm okay using.

Gosh I needa plan a big combat for my Draw Steel game and then Card Wrights is THURSDAY!

Ya ever have a bunch of things you wanna do but your brain is like "What if you simply did nothing?" I worked on a couple of scripts. Trying to refine them, figure out what I wanna do next. I wanna work on more art but today I feel like staring at the ceiling. I'm alright! Just missing some kind of creative jolt...
