He was somewhat recognized in Sebastian’s home, if only because he had helped him a small handful of years ago. Right now Hawke was on the run and needed a place to lay low. The Prince had always been a wholesome, kind man—he could only hope that a long overdue apology would be enough to win him over. They hadn’t left each other on the best of terms, but not on the worst of terms either. In the end, Hawke only wanted Sebastian to take his rightful place. The world needed more men like Sebastian Vael—not like Garrett Hawke. Although Sebastian had yet to overthrow the shitty bastard ( bless his wretched soul) that was on the throne, Garrett decided to be a little dramatic and bow before him. “Well if it isn't’ the Prince of Starkhaven in the flesh. Might I say you’re looking a bit less like a Chantry boy? Or is that in poor taste?”
