GOOD QUESTION ; after a while , all parties start looking the same . one cluster of idiots huddled in one corner , second cluster in another , alleged tough guys huddled around the solitary keg in the backyard and the more experienced party hosts have long removed anything that’s valuable or fragile , that could give a hint towards the owners . looking around for a moment , Tommy cannot spot any of the usual suspects . what he can do though , is trip an anxious - looking kid that just happens to walk by . there’s a whoops and a little crash when the kid bumps into a side table and sends a vase cluttering to the floor .
the annoyed female voice yelling ‘ ey , moron ! watch out ! ’ is familiar .
“ Tina , ” Tommy concludes in a semi - bored fashion . he looks over at Veronica , mild curiosity playing on the freckled face . “ why do you care ? party’s a party’s a party . ” he shrugs . “ only thing that’s good to know now is that Tina’s dad has a habit of stashing quality bourbon in his office . ”
