“If I could I would kill him,” He said in a low voice. There was a balance to all things, Phobos understood this more than most having kept company with both Zeus and Athene and his own mother and father who’s very natures embodied that most sacred balance. And in that cosmic scheme each god and daimon played their role. But that did not mean that mean that having understood this one respected each balancing weight.
❛ right. yup. definitely repressed that memory. ❜ laerissa @ laerion // @chaoswrote
"Do shape up. As the Targaryens say, a childhood without horror is a childhood wasted."
No one's ever said that. Well, perhaps Maegor had, and their dear cousin Viserys was only implying it. Still, it's a glib falsehood that might be the bane of any other youth. Laerion is nothing if not proud, however.
So he grins down at his lady sister, laughter in his dark violet eyes if not his mouth. His elbow nudges against her ribs, perhaps a little harder than is necessary. He's still growing accustomed to how they've fallen out of step. The elder twin seems so much smaller now.
"Was it really so bad? I'd rank Laena marrying Daemon the far greater nightmare, yet I've heard you speak of the feast so fondly." He cocks his head. "So strange, the things you retain and the ones you want to forget."
For his own sake, he means to retain everything, the good and the bad. The good memories will make the dark days all the more tolerable, and the bad will teach him to appreciate what he has. Even if that means recalling that swaggering royal prick--
"As for your lapse in memory... I can remind you, if you wish."
What feelings does your character most often instill in their fans? Affection? A desire to protect? Open lust? A love/hate dynamic? Why do you think their fans feel this way? For hel // @chaoswrote
I have seen the poll results. I have the more moms = more power jokes. My partners ARE the Hel fandom at this point, and I know what lurks in your hearts. You want to coddle her, to show her the softness she's been deprived, to be very tender with her because life has not.
The fans want to protect her above all else. She's endured Enuff. They do not want to see her endure anymore. As for why you all feel this way, she's a wet cat of a lady for reasons that are not her fault at all. I understand the appeal. But I know what lurks in your hearts.

"Is that what passes for humour in hell?" Aziraphale fumbled at his pocket, fingertips arriving at the barrel of a fountain pen. It was a nicer barrel, in his opinion, than a gun's. He uncapped it and held it at his side, just covered by his sleeve, and waited for an opportunity.
Hopefully it was true, that old saying. What was it? About the pen being mightier than the sword?
“If I had any delusions of you being a good man, I would consider myself a good woman. We both know that Eddie and Mina are the best of all of us.” // @chaoswrote
“Certainly. I might have set the bar dismally low, but I do consider most of my loved ones far better than me.
And before you ask... That includes you, Harley.”
Harley VC: STOP DENYING YOUR SOFTNESS JONNY // @chaoswrote
“Harleen. My... dear, dear friend. I run on a particularly vicious admixture of spite and uppers. My body is a series of wrong angles. My lifelong ambitions include making the scientific world grovel before me in terror. I could go on.
Looking out for your well-being does not equate to softness on my part. You are my friend. You need help. The logical answer to this situation is to try and help you. Really, you’re starting to sound like Eddie. The next step in this delusion is to convince yourself that I’m somehow secretly a good man -- Respectfully, I am going to ask you to stop whilst you are ahead.”
@chaoswrote asked: Anna Diop
i saw this picture of her and immediately thought of styx (mostly bc i’m obsessed with her kiddos). i don’t know much about styx but here are some of my initial thoughts: she is, undoubtedly, a woman of complete independence. she’s sort of got a complex because the river she embodies holds so much significance in the balance between life and death -- but she takes that seriously. as such, i think she has a very strong sense of morality and doesn’t waver. its why she was the first to offer up her services to the young gods in the titanomachy -- she is a mother, first and foremost, and would see someone like cronus overthrown for his crimes.
because her river is something people often swear upon, she’s also unwaveringly honest and holds others to high standards. once she has made her mind up about something, its really hard to convince her otherwise. like many other river gods and goddesses, however, she does tend to be a little more on the wild side, craving freedom, and its very difficult for her to balance duty with her more innate desire to do as she pleases.
