i like to headcanon in this universe that since Omega can read/scan others, he tends to basically call out Sonic or Rouge on their crushes by announcing aloud that their heartbeat went up whenever Shadow or Knuckles is around them.
is Omega just concerned for their health or is he doing it on purpose to tease them? the world many never know..
