...what if I made Thresh's feet more anthro looking, so he walks more on the balls of his feet....

#really liking the idea and I've been working on his ref sheet between other projects #now is the time.....#but that would also technically make him even shorter LOL #Thresh walking around on his petty paws and then he just drops onto his full foot loosing like 3 inches of height #also would help me learn how to draw anthro esque feet!#chaotic words

I'VE BEEN DRAWING ZORA FEET WRONG THIS ENTIRE TIME?!?!

Well not wrong per say it's all artistic interpretation at the end of the day BUT I THOUGHT THEY ONLY HAD TWO TOES. And then I saw a Sidon feet pic (BY ACCIDENT I SWEAR....or 😏 agshsjss) and realized they HAVE FIVE FUCKIN TOES I JUST THOUGHT IT WAS TWO BIG TOES.

That's it Thresh is getting wolf paws.

Been playing in the sandbox with ideas revolving around Thresh's ancestory.....and the idea of their bloodline having monster blood in it.

Specifically the wolfos enemies from OOT/MM, since they are anthro is design and basically just lycans and it gives me ideas. I was low key inspired by the Moblin's Letter side quest in Windwaker, with the monster romance between Maggie and Moe so I'm taking the knowledge and RUNNING WITH IT.

ANYWAY HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS.

Every year a migratory wolfos pack passes by the Domain of Volica, and settles in a nearby forest for wintertime. Tensions between the zora and wolfos are high during this time, and both the zora and wolfos quickly learned to respectively stay out of each other's sight. No encounter = no conflict.

Until! In typical star crossed lover fashion a zora (Thresh's grandma) falls in love with a wolfos (but father I love him! Awooo!"). After a bit of befuddlement the wolfos pack became friends to the volica zora (and still are at present!).

This would make Thresh, Thresh's mom (deceased), Fen'an, and Fen'an's mom, all a percentage of wolfos. Though the zora genes predominantly won out.

Doubling with the fact they are sharks this has some expected effects: their all on the fiester side, feet are more digitigrade, have double that tail wagging behavior, strong sniffers, equally fast on land as they are in water. And some unexpected effects: can sprint on all fours in short bursts, ridiculous levels of enjoyment when digging, can speak wolf ("woof" "uh huh, go on" "woof, awoo, awooo!" "uh huh, ya huh oh man you really pissed them off huh?") and get antsy & more aggressive during blood moons.

Silvyr: Thresh what are you doing?

Thresh: I'm asking this dog for directions.

#at first I was like noooo I can't do that that's way to out of left field but then I was like wait a minute there is CANONICAL MONSTER #ROMANCE and it's my character and I can do what I desire #also this further jusitfys my idea about how Thresher parents use their kids tails as like a leash to ensure their kids don't BOLT OFF and #this behavior only got way worse with wolfos blood #what if he barked at people as a kid XD #also making Thresh have to grapple with his more baseline instincts during blood moon nights is a fun thought #thresh #chaotic words

Got ahold of an amazing shibari reference pack and I'm in the mood to use it sooooo whose zora(s) wanna be potentially shibaried by Thresh
