Lizzie Midford deserves not to be hated.
Lizzie doesn’t deserved to be hated. Of course we can’t blame Lizzie for siding into Real Ciel and turns her back from Our Ciel. The Ciel she was with for the past few years was not her real fiance, plus with the fact that Our Ciel lied to her for the past few years that they are together. Of course Lizzie has the right to know the whole truth. The truth can’t be hidden to her forever.
On the Other hand, Our Ciel’s reasons and intentions were covered by his lies that can make everyone misunderstood him. Our Ciel has his reasons for doing all of that. And he honestly didn’t want to hurt people through his lying on purpose (specifically Soma, Lizzie etc.) He didn’t lie just because he wanted to. He lied because of his reasons.
Lizzie’s expression can tell that she still can’t believe of the fact that the Ciel Phantomhive she was with for years (and the Ciel who she came to love) lied to her. She felt being betrayed. Of course she will be confuse of her feelings whether to believe him again or not. She still confused of the things happening to her surroundings. Plus, Lizzie might be manipulated since her thoughts are in chaos. Just like Our Ciel, Lizzie has also sacrificed many things just to be suitable for him. She is a girl who deserves to be understand and not to be hated. She has feelings and her feelings for him was real.
Rahziel’s Opinion: In my opinion, this chapter is one of the devastating chapters that I have read. As a Cielizzian, I won’t hate Lizzie for hating Our Ciel. She has the right. Of course if the one you love lies to you, you feel betrayed. And its exactly the same on what Lizzie is feeling now. So Lizzie should not be hated and should be understand. She also has her reasons though. But somehow, I know that she still loves Our Ciel. I just wanted somehow that Lizzie will turn back to Our Ciel once he explains himself.
