A Return to Chapelle

Another wonderful place along the Santa Fe in New Mexico, one I used to visit when the semaphores were still present, is Chapelle. The water tank is still there of course, but the signals have been updated and all the wonderful old poles and code line are now gone.

I didn't shoot the Southwest Chief coming at me as the light was terrible, but have a couple of going away shots here.
