And now, for your pleasure, World Nobles getting hurt:
Bonney is getting more and more interesting in every chapter we read.
I like the way Oda develops her. She's linked to the Revolutionaries, she's linked with Kuma and Sabo, and now, Luffy and Vegapunk.
It feels like she's going to be part of the few characters who might unleash some truth to the readers.
She met Sabo and I am sure we have only seen Sabo's side of the story. We still need to learn Vivi's and Bonney's.
And her powers are equally interesting. It feels like she can recreate every stage of life, from birth to actual death.
She doesn't fake those aspects for sure. It feels like she holds the life of the people she fights in her very hands.
It feels like her powers could be an interesting match with Perona's. I feel like if the two girls met they could be a very deadly team.
Perona might imitate souls and Bonney imitates the physical aspect of life.
Oer perhaps, we could match Brook and Perona, Brook and Bonney just to see what we can get with their combinaisons.
Besides, like her father, Bonney is fearless. She doesn't hesitate to go in the war field. She's even the first one to put a wound on Saturn.
i dare to say she's like a MVP but she's a MVP!!!
I can't wait for more!
Oda dropping Zoro's family tree in a color spread 💀
Monkey D. Luffy vs. Kizaru // chapter 1094
How many of you are blushing, giggling, kicking your feet, etc, etc with this week's color spread? Because I am.
New Frontiers in Perversion
I mean...look at this ass shot. Like, we just nudged at the idea Bonney might actually be younger than she normally looks. You've heard of the 5000 year old dragon who just looks like a child so it's okay she's all up on you. Now try the polar opposite! "I'mma make this grown-up kid sexay." I'm (mostly) joking, it actually does seem like a lot of the Bonney "fanservice" scenes we've gotten would make sense through the lens of not having a fully developed sense of modesty. And that's all still just theoretical. Still, pulling the rug out from under perverts is always funny. And we can at least appreciate the craft that goes into such a butt shot. Like, I'm not really into girls anyways but I can respect this man really found a nice way to slip in a solid look at Jewelry Bonney's posterior through an action shot reminiscent of Izo's cool flipping shot on Maha.
Which...really seems on point given the "Near-Death Experience" ability chased immediately by a blatant callback to Kiku locking up with Kanjuroden. I don't want to dwell on this, but One Piece has a knack for resonating with life events and Bonney there hits really, really, really hard when you had to say goodbye to your own father this week. Here's your blatant signal after the already pretty solid run-up. And that's all that happened in this chapter, nothing else of note.
I don't actually think that's going to hurt him in a serious way.
Like, yeah, the blade went in, but I feel like he'll just shrug it off.
Is that a pentagram?
Are the Five Elders demons or something???
Because like, it seemed like he was summoned, he looks much bigger, has those curved horns, is cloaked in some kind of shadow stuff.
Like, it makes me think he's an actual demon or something. This does not feel like something you get from a special Devil Fruit.
And it's making me wonder if maybe the Five Elders we see aren't actually their real bodies, because he didn't show up and transform into this, he just emerged like this.
