I know I just posted Chapter 11 today but Chapter 12 might be up tomorrow. Since chapter 11 was so short I'm gonna try to make this chapter a little longer. I just felt like I was at a really good stopping point in that last chapter? I dunno, will update as soon as I can though!

Chapter 12 writing update for Not On His Watch!

I will say, chapter 12 is progressing along smoothly. And in contrast to my other chapters, probably will be bigger than chapter 10 itself (for reference, I am currently at 7,205 words, and not even done).

Suffice to say, there is a lot to cover, and overall this will be a HEFTY chapter. I believe I should be able to finish it at the latest of next week, but if I still have time prior to my finals it might even be done before then 👀

So in the meantime… keep an eye out! And be prepared! Because so far there is a LOT happening in there lol

The Wishing Hunt update

For anyone wondering when Chapter 12 might arrive, just wanted to say I'm on holidays right now, so as usual at this time of year, my regular routine is non-existent. The chapter draft is underway, but I have a few things yet to figure out. This is just a post to say I haven't forgotten it! Winter opened her eyes. She had fallen asleep again. She raised her head off the infirmary bed she was sitting next to and stretched. Her entire body still hurt. But ever since they had come here and she had woken up, Winter had barely left the side of her partner’s bed.

She sighed. They were at an Atlesian military base closest to where they were found and if Cassie keep going like this she might wake up some time soon. Her body had gone into an extreme state of recovery and every so often she would stir slightly, her aura would flash up shortly or the emerald-colored light would be covering her for a few minutes, which according to the doctor’s were good signs.

Winter herself had also been out for a day and a half and only recently woken up. She had collapsed the moment they arrived and she had made sure her partner was taken care of and Schnee manor wasn’t being informed about any of this. Thankfully enough she had reached the age were she had a say in these kinds of things.

She sat back down and looked at her hand which had started to shake the moment she had removed it from her partner’s cheek. She could still feel the aftermath of what they had been through in form of short trembling episodes.
