Thank you for the nice words about my writing.  I have put al lot of work into the customs of the Far Northern Dales and as for the armor, I have not only seen  the real thing, I have made a set of 14th century Austrian full plate.  The person that it was made for demonstrated floor gymnastics in it.  Serious combat armor was not very heavy.  It was SURVIVAL gear.  Suits that slow you down or restrict your motion are not survival gear.

As for the bagpipes, well played, they are amazing.  Poorly played, well,  .  . .
