Chapter 311: Not a fenghuang* and not a phoenix; it's Zhuque!
*T/N: Fenghuang (凤凰), Chinese mythological birds that symbolize auspiciousness and blessings, are often mistakenly conflated with Western phoenixes (fenghuang do not get reborn from ashes, and represent different things). They're also conflated with Zhuque although they're completely different birds.
Note: Zhuque, the Vermillion Bird of the South, is associated with summer and the element fire. Qinglong, the Azure Dragon of the East, is associated with spring and the element wood.
