Don't be ridiculous.
Chapter 338 ~ The Story of How We All Became Heros, Part 1
They get married.
Since others are sleeping on this point, I’m gonna point out something interesting on Hizashi Yamada; SPOILERS for chapter 338.
I found it interesting that Mic wasn’t too willing to forgive Aoyama like everyone else. It’s an intriguing trait of his personality that he’s not forgiving to people who hurt the ones he loves. There were bits of this in Vigilantes, where there was a bully who picked on Aizawa (and Oboro, I think) when they were kids. Mic was forced to pair up with him because they interned at the same company, but he did zip to help, especially when they were pitted against his friends. Mic didn’t like him and never warmed up even when Aizawa forgave him. Why? Because he insulted his friends. And the doctor—well, I think we know his feelings there. Do I need to go into details? Let’s just say that the only reason the Doctor got off with one hit is that they needed him to help Oboro. It's sort of the same with Aoyama. All things aside, Aizawa got his face smashed in, half his bones broke, and his students were placed in danger because Aoyama betrayed their trust, twice at least. I don’t think he hates the kid but he’s still upset. He even seemed annoyed when Class A and Aizawa were willing to just instantly forgive.
I think this is an interesting aspect, especially when nearly every other protagonist is forgiving to a fault. Mic doesn’t forgive everything, especially when it hurt the people he loves. He’s angry that they were hurt and isn’t ready to let that go. Again Mic isn’t in the wrong nor is he a bad guy, I think he cares so much that he isn’t willing to let the pain of his loved ones get pushed aside. In a way, he’s being protective. (Also, I think this kinda hints that Mic is very black and white in his views with the “a crime is a crime” line.)
Whaddya think? Agree, or am I reading too much into it?
(And just to cut this off, my feelings on Aoyama are I get what he did, but his actions were very wrong, and now he needs to make up for them, which he has a chance to do now.)
