Can I just say that i was deeply satisfied with this chapter. Everything was perfect, especially juvia coming back. I can see why people are upset cause it was more development for grays character and to have someone so close to him die and stay dead might have impacted the story, but he's already lost his teacher and his father, so losing juvia was not something that really needed to happen, plus Wendy really has improved with her healing magic considering that a year prior to that she couldn't save future Lucy but also when I look back at the chapter it self it seems like when future Lucy gets taken down, it's goes through her heart, Juvia's wound was her stomach, still a severe injury but the healing magic could definitely save her but the wound to the heart can not be healed. So I think I understand why her magic worked considering those factors. Point is juvia is back but gray himself doesn't know this and it'll make for a great fight since gray is distraught over juvia, so my guess is that Mashima might have juvia reunite with gray after the war is over or she finds him fighting with end. Each way would be fine but I have a feeling he's going to use this apparent death to his advantage and have gray believe she's dead so that it can create a more impactful battle between gray and Natsu. That last panel made my heart beat so fast. I've been waiting for someone to bring up the fact that Natsu was end and I was waiting to see who would find out first and for it to be gray, that was really well done, we kind of predicted this approximately two or three chapters ago when invel noticed that Natsu was the infamous end, this kind of foreshadowed him telling gray since he saw grays true potential to defeat him. This is setting itself up for a wicked battle. Gray at first may be in disbelief but then he may start to believe that Natsu is end and go to find him and destroy him like he had promised his father, but he may be conflicted since he has been his comrade for so long. I can see this occurring for future chapters, but what I want is to see Lucy's reaction, Lucy is one of my favorite characters and her reaction is crucial for me. Will gray reveal this when he finds them and will he attempt to fight Natsu but Lucy would get in the way😭 all these possibilities. Natsu of course at one time could not save future Lucy so based off each chapter I've noticed that because of that incident, he seems to try and keep Lucy safe at all costs. He would do that for all his nakama but what I think is that he doesn't want to relive that memory. If another member died I can honestly see Natsu doing the same thing cause who wants to see one of there comrades die in front of them especially somebody close to them. But the reason why I brought this up is because I can truly see Lucy sacrificing herself to save Natsu and that sacrifice could either awaken end because maybe gray was the one who impaled her or something cause she got in the way of the fight. Gray is devastated that it happened and end is awakened from losing the one person he didn't want to lose again. Or maybe zeref is the one who does it. All these thoughts and I've been contemplating what Mashima has in store for our lovelies. It's times like this that you really admire Natsu as a character, he is very well done with hidden emotions and conflicts and even Mashima doesn't know what he's thinking which makes him even better. Anyway my talk about this chapter is over, I will most likely be discussing each chapter each week now since it gives me an outlet for all my hought a during each chapter :)
