Haha 😂 Glad you enjoyed the Goncharov reference. I just thought it would be funny if the movie actually existed in the Vendetta universe and it is one of Luka’s favorite movies (Luka can be kind of a movie nerd sometimes 😭). Although, this opens another can of worms: Does Martin Scorsese exist in Vendetta universe? 🤣

Anyway, Luka’s reaction upon watching Goncharov movie (the 1973 one) for the first time:

I just read through all the demo and it's all so great but I can't get this stupid scene out of my head:

Rin pushing a significantly taller MC into an alley to have a quick make out session, already sucking a hickey into MC's neck.

Then they hear a "Hey!"

And they turn and there's uncle Luka and Jackal in the exact same position with Jackal pinning Luka to the wall. Luka's red like a lobster, and his turtleneck is pushed down so they can clearly see the hickeys adorning his throat.

Both MC and Luka are stuck staring at each other like deers in the headlights.

Jackal just goes, "We had this alley first, go get your own."

The Morozov family has a type, and apperantly it's it's a short Dom bottom.

I just played Rin's hangout, which I absolutely adored, but I remembered I sent an ask about if the MC knows Japanese or not, so it was nice to get that confirmation that they don't.

Seeing the MC sit there trying to hide their dumbfounded at the menu offerings was great. Pretty sure Rin is going to throw a Japanese term of endearment at us and we'll be like ???

Oh yeah, for sure. Rin is going to use what I call the Jackal approach 😆 Using terms of endearment and nicknames that their partner don’t really know what it means and then refusing to elaborate because they find it cute and enjoy seeing their partner flustered. Although for Jackal, it’s also because he doesn’t want to be seen as too soft or cornily romantic.

But how does Jackal feel if Mc started calling him Uncle or accidentally called him Uncle?

Jackal chokes in surprise at the title MC just called him. "Kid, you're jumping the gun. I'm not yet married or even officially engaged to your uncle. Until then, you can just call me by my name or call me 'big bro' or something. I don't know, just not uncle," he says before mumbling, "Makes me feel old." Before MC can respond, Jackal's phone rings. His frown immediately lessens as he reaches into his pocket and pulls out his phone. It's a call from someone he put in as "老公" in the contact. He answers the call and it's from Luka.

With it being back to school season I've been struck with the mental image of the MC and their LI in the future meeting with their kid's kindergarden teacher. Much like young MC the teacher had some concernes about a family picture their child drew. While an MC raising a child with both Ash and Rin probably need to clear up a few things, the teacher's main concern is the part of the picture the kid drew of their extended family. The MC's child drew not just their parents, but also any potental grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, ect. For the most part it looks like a normal childs portrait, until the MC notices the sudden pallet change to predominatly red when their child depicted Uncle Artom, and the sequil MC. That half of the family portriat became disturbingly viceral and graphic, the fact it was depicted in crayon by a 5 yr old would make even a hardened MC give pause. Suddly MC understands why Viktor was so insistent on raising them away from the family buisness.

Oh no 😭 If that happened, then MC should really go talk to Luka and Jackal because they definitely wouldn’t talk about the more gruesome side of their jobs in the presence of MC’s kids.

It might be from Konstantin or sequel MC, but I’m pretty sure they did not mean to share that with malicious intents. Probably they told MC’s kids like it’s a cool story or something (since if I’m not mistaken, MC’s kids and Jackal’s won’t have a big age gap, probably 5 years-ish max with Konstantin).

Incoming Jackal and Luka scolding Konstantin and sequel MC for sharing such graphic stories with their… uh… what title do you call your cousin’s children? 😭 First cousin removed? Let’s just say they’re cousins because they’re closer in age with MC’s kids than MC themself.

Like I know it ain't Christmas anymore (but we're just gonna ignore that fact because you're gonna like this ask UwU) but just imagine.

They're all together having dinner and having fun. And they decided to do a secret Santa. Rin didn't know what to give MC so they gave MC a spicy photo with a dedication behind, but there's a mix up and Ash ends up receiving it.

MC: *holds a pair of handcuffs confused*

Ash: *reads the dedication out loud*

Rin: The photo was meant for MC and the handcuffs were for you.

Jealous!Ash and flustered!MC

Rin: *hand cuffs MC* But I like this outcome better.

*Rin drags flustered!MC and flustered!Ash away to a room and locks the door*

Meanwhile Luka and the rest of the family are just sitting there, still processing what just happened:

Jackal was just minding his own business and focusing on eating, not really paying attention much to the talks around the table and when it happened, he was like:

Before he immediately starts snickering (and tries to hide it with no success) at the table’s reactions and awkwardness—he thrives in the chaos 🤭

I just found your story and I’m obsessed! It’s sooo good! Ash and MC who is deep in denial about their feelings is just *chefs kiss.

The scene where Ash kills the target for MC and MC is just horrified, amazing. Got me thinking too, like what if MC thought on it for a bit and felt they had deeply failed Ash by letting their family turn him/her into an attack dog and a killer? How would the sweetest firebrand react to MC in tears apologizing for failing to protect him/her?

Aww 🥺 Ash would totally panic seeing MC crying and try their best to calm and comfort them. Once they finally understand what MC is saying, they quickly reassure MC that it’s no one’s fault—and definitely not MC’s—and them becoming the Morozov’s enforcer is not a mistake in their eyes.

Far from it, it has always been what they wanted to do ever since they learn about their mom and dad did for a living. It’s something they are proud of and it’s a plus point that it also helps repay Uncle Luka for raising them.

Inside though, they would be so torn because they don’t want to stop doing what they love doing, but they also don’t like seeing and knowing how distraught MC is over what they consider their job and life.

Also, funny you should mention them being an attack dog because they’ve become infamous enough in the criminal world that one of the titles/names they’re called (mostly by their enemies) is the Morozov’s Hellhound.

The only other person who is called the Morozov’s hound is Jackal (in the spirit of keeping up the canine theme 😂) as he has been spending more and more time doing jobs for Luka and the family.
