i'm really excited to start brush week!!

plushie brush! the poses were very hard for me.

and that's the end of brush week!! this is hands down my favorite piece from the week.

day six... mermaids.

the two kids from pfs! ash - 10yo - a rather timid girl. after enduring heavy abuse, shes developed a constant freeze response, dissociating through most things. she believes she's an incurable monster. despite that, she has some whimsy occasionally, mostly to annoy ruby. ruby - 9yo - a very stubborn girl. constantly irritated, she's given up on the idea people are kind (except for ash, of course) and looks for ways to test their motives. it's all a front, of course. she's been told she's strong so many times she builds her identity around it, even though what she really wants it to just be a scared kid.
