Considering the plethora of new memories that had just hit her recently, ending up in this place.. was making Susie feel a little weird. Her stomach in knots, a tightness in her chest threatening to suffocate her; idly scratching at her shirt as she stood in place next to her new friend.

It wasn't like she was going to deny Chara of this, though. Even if they looked a little sad, their entire face lit up when they saw the floating candles cascading down the lake; and if it hadn't reminded her so much of the church, Susie would think it was pretty beautiful, too.

.. it was beautiful. It just came with a weight she didn't really expect. In some way, she wondered if Chara felt the same.

"Who are your candles for?"

It’s getting late, and Kay’s on her way home from a long day of hanging out at the festival. And while the dark doesn’t scare her, the city can get pretty dangerous at night... might be best to head to Mr. Barry’s house just to be safe. She keeps to herself as she walks, never veering off the path until her eyes are drawn to a familiar figure along the way.

“Chara...?” Something seems a little off about them, but Kay can’t get a good look at their face to see exactly what’s up. Are they wearing a costume, maybe? Still, she stops, taking a few steps toward them.

“H-hey, are you going to Dad’s house? I’m heading there too, we can walk home together if you want.”

When Kokichi checked up the area around his block (that unfortunately was placed in the golden ward) he couldn’t help but notice a familiar face there. Wasn’t that this one kid he already met not too long ago? To make sure he wasn’t mistaken, he walked closer to them. Once he was standing in frtont of them, he decided to say something. Kokichi noticed already that they were no usual kid, but wasn’t it still kind of dangerous though?

“Ooohh... it really is you! Y’know I get that you’re cool and totally not boring and all that. But don’t you think you should be somewhere more safe?” Of course a liar like him wouldn’t let anyone know that he genuinely was concerned for the kid, so he had to follow up with a lie or joke. “Watch out! Maybe one of those balloon cats are actually bombs that could blow up any moment now! Nee-heehee, That would make everything more exciting, right? Having balloons to fight is totally lame after all! - Anyways, do you already have a kill count?”
