Hi! I was wondering if someone can give me tips on how to make my own aesthetics? Thank you!

here are some tutorials that i think could help you out: x, x, x, x, x. some tips are to stick to a theme and a color scheme to make it look more put together. use sites like pinterest and weheartit, use specific keywords. i tend to use the keywords like aesthetic or a certain color i’m looking for. hope this helped!

So, in this guide, I’ll be showing how I make character aesthetics! Other people may do it differently. THIS is what the end product should look like!

Sorry if I tend to ramble. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask and I’ll try and clear it up as best as possible!

What you need to do this:

A basic understanding of photoshop

Alright, so first off, you need a template. You can find three templates HERE. I will be using the third one shown there, which looks like this!

Okay, now that you have a template, you need to find your pictures that go with your subject! How I find my pictures for my aesthetic are through google images, favim, photo hunts on tumblr, and muse blogs! HERE you can find a masterlist of muse blogs.

For this one, you will need 8 pictures! Once you find your pictures, you will need to crop them 250x140 pixels!

Then when you have all eight (or however many the template has) pictures cropped, you’re ready to put them on your template! So, to do that, you can either drag them to the template, or duplicate them on to the template. I will show you how to duplicate right now.

So, you go over to the layers, right click on layer 1, and hit “Duplicate Layer...”

Once you hit that, this will show up.

You just duplicate it to whatever the template is called, and mine happens to be the top one. Then, when you press OK, it’ll pop up on the template like so:

After that, you just drag it to wherever you would like it placed! Then, you keep doing this until you have all your pictures in the correct spots!

It should now look like this:

If you’re happy with that coloring, feel free to just save as either a JPEG or PNG, and post it. But most people like to slap a PSD on there. For this specific aesthetic, I used @nightavatars 156 PSD which you can find HERE.

To add the PSD, you do the same steps that you would do to add a picture onto the PSD. Once it’s on there, make sure that the PSD is above all other layers so that it hits every picture.

And badabing, badaboom! Your character aesthetic is complete. All you have to do is save it and upload it.
