Alignment: chaotic good  Main qualities: Resilient little thing, optimistic as all hell, follower to a fault, tougher than he dresses, usually just looking for a good time, will give you a good time if you let him.  Main flaws: He stubborn, he’s nosy, can have a short fuse over certain topics, he’s not good with secrets and he has a big one, and he ain’t doing real great about kickin’ the jet addiction either.  Fears: Being taken by the Institute, getting sucked dry by bloodbugs, disappointing the people he loves.

Height: 5′5″ - 5′6″ish Weight: ~140lbs Build: Medium-boned and semi-toned.  Hair color: Medium Brown (naturally) | Pink/Teal/Whatever color he can find (Whenever he can find it) Hair style: Classic fade cut - shaved sides, poof of hair on top.  Eye color: Golden Brown Tattoos/scars/markings: Various moles, scar on his chin, an assortment of scuffs/punctures/and burns. He has a BoS tattoo on his chest that was applied over an old brand mark - even with the tattoo there, the skin is still notably jacked up beneath it.  Body/facial hair: Average body hair, generally unshaved. Facial hair is limited to sideburns/mustache (or a very scraggly goatee) because it’s all he can manage.

Favorite piece of clothing: His bomber jacket from the BoS, and a pair of *very nice* denim shorts that he found preserved in an old department store.  Lucky charm: While he wouldn’t consider these ‘lucky’ persay, Juaco rarely ever takes his dog tags off.  Favorite food: Takahashi’s noodles (but any instant noodle cups will do). He also really loves any old-world foods he can find. Mmm, preservatives.  Favorite beverage: Nuka Cherry for the flavor but Nuka Quantum for the color.  Favorite season: Summer Favorite Radio Station: Malt Shop Mayhem

Character and Race Idea: Vaeryn Winters

Vaeryn Winters - Age: 30

Race: Avarep

Avarep are a crossbreed race of Avian, Reptiles, and Humans. Avarep can be any genetic make-up of these three, otherwise they are simply Lizardfolk (Reptile/Human), Harpy (Avian/Human), or Siren (Reptile/Avian). Avarep live mostly in large groups in forested areas, and have a strong focus on the community. Each Avarep contributes to the community in some way, be it guard work or farming. There are no set "families", though Avarep that feel close to one another may form a "household". In general, the entire community is considered a single family. Children are born from eggs that are placed within a "clutch", and any active household may adopt a child for their own. As their culture does not conform to standard familial practices, Avarep are prone to taking many lovers at a time. An Avarep may choose to leave a community once they reach adulthood, and are generally welcomed back should they return, though there are times when one is ostracized from a community for a great crime.

Vaeryn Winters is an Avarep. He is mostly humand in appearence, though he is mostly feathered, has clawed, reptilian hands, a lizard's tail, snake-like eyes. and feathered protrusions where ears would be. Vaeryn is what's known as a "Purifier", though he is not officially recognized as one by the Order. At a young age, he lost his right arm while protecting his clutch-sisters from a bandit. Though he lost a limb, he was able to subdue, and kill, the attacker using an Anchoring Spear. Since then, he developed a special one-handed fighting style using a specially made weapon called a "Ring Sword", a blade with a rounded, circular grip that allows him to switch between reverse and forward blade fighting styles. When he was 16, an ailing Purifier visited his community, bringing with him an "Ark", a relic that houses a sentient being. This Purifier took a shine to young Vaeryn, and bestowed upon him this relic. Upon placing it on his shoulder, he was granted a new arm, composed almost entirely from Purity (the energy that powers a Purifier's abilities). This energy also extended to his other arm, causing both to emit a near-constant blue glow. Vaeryn has circumvented this oddity with long sleeves. Due to his right arm being not flesh, he is able to extend it up to fifteen feet, allowing him to strike enemies from a great distance.

Vaeryn is a generally excitable person, who tends to act before thinking, which usually gets him into trouble.
